On Monday Beth and I went for a trip to find Filey Dams, (we had no idea where it was). After finding it, it was pretty late so the light was fading, but I still managed to get a few shots.

The sunset gave me a few good photos, the orange and pink was lovely.

There wasn't that many creatures on that day, probably because it was so cold! The small birds were doing their best to stay hidden but we managed to find a few.

A floating caterpillar had to be the weirdest find of the day...

The birds were all very noisy too, all trying to shout above each other.

The clouds made the water look like  mirror, I liked the reflections it created.

Beth spotted a Heron perched on an island, it kept doing occasional laps of the dams. A good find!

There was a bit of a standoff between this pheasant and the waterfowl...

The last shot of the day showed just how pink the sky had gone. I'll be coming back to Filey Dams, but perhaps when its a little warmer.
