Garden
I found these pictures from Mothers Day:
These are rescued battery hens, they look a little scruffy!
There was a few frogs hiding in the pond that day.
Log pile all stocked for winter.
A dog's skull, poor thing...
I just love this sun dial, the fairy is really pretty.
Malta and Gozo
These are from my recent trip to Malta and Gozo;
The flight wasn't that bad, only about 3 1/2 hours or so, we had an early morning flight too, so the sunrise was nice.
This magnificent structure is known as the Azure Window and is located on the very small island of Gozo, the first Pirates of the Caribbean film shows the Window in it's first scene.
At the resort there was lots of little birds flying about, after food scraps from the restaurants; cute little things.
In the fortified cities of Malta there was lots of narrow streets, some where quite picturesque.
If you were lucky you'd sometimes see little lizards sunning themselves on the pavement, they couldn't half move fast!
Everywhere you look there was elements of the British, the telephone boxes appeared everywhere!
The market had some interesting products on offer, like this huge fish.
There was lots of small fishing boats in the harbours, all decorated with eyes to ward off evil spirits.
We stopped by a racing track to watch some races, the races were short and fast and the locals loved it! We bet on number 5 but he let us down...
Horse and cart is the only way to get around!
The perfect way to end the holiday was by flying over the alps on the way home, it was stunning!
So there's a few photos from my holiday, lovely islands and I hope to be visiting again soon.

The Bearing Sea
Whilst helping out at the Scarborough Spa for the engineering week I nipped out to take a few snaps of the rather lively sea.
