This weekend presented the opportunity for us to go to Tophill Low on an Otter Walk with the hope of seeing an otter. Unfortunately we didn't see any otters but we did see a few other creatures. I didn't get that many shots; with it being a late session lighting was some what of an issue.
There were some quite pretty flowers in the river.
There were a few Reed Buntings and Reed Warblers about.
We then saw two Barn Owls; the first was very pale and gave me exposure issues, the second was darker and easier to get a relatively decent shot.
At the grandparent's house the bird feeders brought a few small birds to the garden.
Grandma hates it when the Starlings eat from the feeders, I managed to get a few shots before she chased them off.
I love the way water droplets collect on these leaves.
All in all it wasn't the best photography session, but despite the lighting and lack of otters, I still had a good time and got the odd good photograph.
